Boys will be boys. I may not know much about them, but I DO know that they love their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!!
If your little one wants to have a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle themed party, there are tons of ways you can make this party a DIY project!
Grab some green construction paper and make your own invitations! Tell everyone to come dressed as their favorite ninja turtle! This will be a fun party that your little one will remember for years.
You can make your own decorations as well! For example, this TMNT garland is incredibly easy to make and is cuter than any banner you’ll find in any store.
Go to any crafts store or Target or Walmart and grab some green scrapbooking paper or cardstock. You’ll also need some scraps of orange, red, blue, white and purple paper. You could use construction paper… however, it would be thinner and may not hold up as well.
Just cut out a shape of the first head, and then you can use that as the form for the following three turtle heads. Then you need to cut strips of the colored paper for the bandanas. Cut small, white pieces of paper to use for the eyes. Then color in the eyeballs with a black Sharpie. You can look online and find some photos of the ninja turtles’ to get inspiration for the facial expressions.
Use a hole punch to make holes in the top corners of each of the turtles and thread any kind of green ribbon or string through, and you’re ready to hang it up!!
